Train up your children in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it..Proverbs 22:6.. You CAN raise a successful child as a single parent with God’s help.
As a parent I have relied on the Supernatural leading of the Holy Spirit to guide and order our steps. Almighty God is our Creator and our children have been uniquely designed for Greatness. Sowing the Love of God and His Word are the Keys to Successful Parenting.
Here are great scriptures for the "challenging years" for they will come to pass:
- Great is the peace of my children for they are taught of the Lord. (Isaiah 54:13). C.C. God's Creative Power.
- I trust in the Lord with all of my heart, and I lean not unto my own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5).
- The Lord will perfect that which concerns me. (Psalms 138:8).
- I let the peace of God rule in my heart and I refuse to worry about anything. (Colossians 3:15).
- I will fear no evil for thou art with me Lord, your word and spirit comfort me. (Psalms 23:4).
I encourage you to believe and confess the Word of God over your family daily. Our Heavenly Father is not a respecter of persons and His Word shall not return void.
Good parenting begins with making right choices. Here are a few tips to get you started in the right direction.
- Tip 1 ..... Frame or Declare the word of God over your children.
Reading Bible stories and having a 10 minute devotion daily has a tremendous impact on our children. - Tip 2 ...... As a parent, confess the Ephesian prayers and Psalms 91 daily over your children.
- Tip 3 ...... Allow your children to participate in the "prayer of agreement". Matthew 18:19.
- Tip 4 ..... Lay hands on your children and anoint them with oil and declare the Blessings of God on their lives.
